Here we are, the end of the road, well, the end of what’s been a fantastic trip.
We’re both ready to go home – we’re missing Sarah and our own place – but it’s been a fantastic trip.

Today was simple – straight down the motorway to Heathrow with a stop in Peterborough to look around the cathedral and another near Bedford for a forgettable Thai lunch.

We dropped the car back (the grand total travelled was 3,562 kms or 2,226 miles), settled in to the Qantas Club, and tried not to think about spending the next thirty hours either on a plane or at airports.

I’ll be back with a final round-up post, but that’s a wrap.

The stats…
Temperature: 4-14
Miles travelled: 128

*Even though we work in kms in Australia, all signage in the UK is in miles, so that’s what I’m going with.
