October Squares – Fairy Flowers

It’s jacaranda time!

When Sarah was little she used to call these beautiful blooms “fairy flowers”. It’s how I still think of them. This isn’t the sharpest photo I’ve ever taken of jacs, but I think the blur adds to the fairy flower idea.

I’m joining in with Becky B’s square challenge again this month. This month we can choose from past square themes and I’m filling my squares with some of my favourite flower pics. Feel free to skim on by…I won’t take it personally. You’ll find Becky’s most recent pic here.

  1. They are like fairy flowers aren’t they? I loved living at Kangaroo Point in Brisbane as Jacaranda Trees lined Main Street and many other parts of the suburb. The only problem is the flowers fall too quickly don’t they? They do make a lovely carpet though. Beautiful photox
