Wattle is Australia’s national flower – and when it’s in flower (late winter to early spring) it shows our national colours (green and gold) at their best.
This pic was taken down at Eucumbene in the NSW Snowy Mountains region a few years ago and is today’s entry in July’s #treesquare challenge.

Really like the punch of gold in this tree/plant. It almost looks backlit. Beautiful.
