Mollymook: the beach walk…

rockpools at low tide

With just four weeks to go until Milford, I’m grabbing every opportunity I can to walk- especially on weekends. I mightn’t get off-road every weekend, or climb hills, but every bit counts…right?

Being away this weekend I did the 6km round trip along the beach from Bannisters- to the rock pools- twice a day.

It’s an easy walk, mostly flat with some undulation and lot’s of dogs on leashes…that about covers the basics.

But the rock pools at low tide are well worth a wander – we spied starfish and all sorts of little fish and crabs and seaweed and…well, you get the idea. Here are the pics…

It all feels a little deserted island-ish at this end of the beach
