So anyways, I’ve shown you photos of here before. Again I’m going to let the pictures do the talking here…except to say this: this little oasis in the middle of Ubud is, well, an oasis in the middle of Ubud. Wait- I already said that!
It’s got something to do with the lotus, and the temple, and the serenity. Apparently the carvings honour Dewi Saraswati- the Goddess of Wisdom and the Arts. Given that there’s always at least one artist and multiple photographers here during the day, and dance troops at night, that makes sense.
