Aaaaah New Zealand. Man, I love that country!

What can I say that I didn’t say in the multitudes of posts I penned during October?

I’ll let the links do the talking:

There was this post on Wellington- from my tummy

A little something on Wellington’s waterfront

And some early morning shots by the harbour

A cool place to stay

Wellington to Picton- a road trip

Nelson and beyond- a road trip

Street Art in Wellington

Street Art in Nelson

and something about Pupu Springs…water of life, indeed.

October is also my husband’s birthday. This year we celebrated in style- with a night away and dinner at Spice Temple. With all the dark, mysterious corners, soft red lighting, and food with incredible depth of heat and flavour, my Scorpio man was in chilli heaven.

Walking around the city before it’s inundated with crowds is one of the special pleasures of staying in town.

We made full use of it.

  1. I was talking to my bestie yesterday (who lives in Christchurch) and she was raving about how lovely Wellington is. I may have also promised to finally get a new passport to go and visit!
