J is for Jo…

With complete disregard for over-sharing, a few things about me…

Environmentally, I’m “lime” green instead of “green” green. I recycle, and eat organically when I can, and use the air conditioning and clothes dryer when I shouldn’t…

Politically, I’m “pink” and a little green around the edges…

Spiritually, I’m open-minded…

Astrologically, I’m a Pisces…

I have no tolerance for intolerance and people who are walking “sits” and “ics”…i.e. racists, sexists, ageists, homophobes…etc…

I fear judgment, business as usual, commitment, partitions, rejection, and clearly defined job descriptions. Oh, and bridges…and crowds…

I’ve been married to my husband for nearly 20 years, and with him since 1989. Obviously I overcame my fear of commitment…

I’m Mum to a 15 year old girl…and a cocker spaniel…

My passport is my most precious possession…

Travel is my escape, my inspiration and my escape into inspiration…

I even like airline food…most of the time…

It shouldn’t be allowed to put your seat back in economy- who wants someone else in your lap?

I’m a great starter, and hopeless at following through. The Statute of Limitations of UnFinished Projects (UFP’s) should be reduced to 3 years…

I am the Queen of Lost and Hopeless Causes…

My first job was making fruit juices, soft serve ice creams and hot dogs for a Wendys type outlet. Trust me, there’s an art to dunking a soft serve in chocolate.

I bet you didn’t know that I was a Rugby League Referee. Ok, it was back when I was 18, and lasted just a few years, but…

I dislike shopping malls and traffic…and traffic to get to shopping malls…

I love shopping in laneways and artists markets…

I’m only interested in movies and books with happy endings…

My mantra is  “Seriously, how hard can it be?”

My dream is to get a publishing contract…or two…

My dream job title is Author~World Traveller…

I have more cookbooks than I have years left to use them…

My top ten most hated songs list has about 50 songs on it…maybe more…

The only bones I have broken were in my feet…and I’ve done that a few times. Oh, I also have a broken bone in my back from a horse fall, but I didn’t know about that for a lot of years…

I’m too vain to wear my glasses other than when I drive…

I prefer to be behind a lens rather than in front of it…

My favourite shoes are my havaianas…

Happiness is a lap pool with no one else in it…

I don’t get how some people anticipate the worst and miss the good stuff…

I probably drink more wine than I should…

I probably don’t say no as often as I should…

I probably need to focus more than I do…

I probably spend more than I should on books and music…

Tell me…what would be on your list????

As another Pisces I’m with you on most of your list Jo. I can really relate to the not wearing glasses. In my teens I would not wear them, and I was VERY short sited, so I got a reputation of being very friendly as I would smile at every one in case I insulted some one (read boy…) by ignoring them. Now at 70+ I could not operate with out my specs on.
