So my day didn’t quite turn out as planned.
Armed with a backpack full of camera equipment I hit the streets of Sydney. I haven’t yet uploaded the results, so these are just randoms I took with the iphone and my favourite instagram filter- lowfi. I’ll post some from the nikon at some stage…
Anyways, starting at the Queen Victoria Building for morning coffee and a peak at the new Spring installation.

Then it was through Westfield and up Castlereagh Sts to David Jones for their annual flower show in amongst the cosmetics and accessories. I like a little blossom with my Chanel sweetie.
Then through Hyde Park to St Marys Cathedral and Art Gallery Rd. The signs advising road closures next Sunday were a reminder that next Sunday I’ll be “running” this for the Bridge Run.
A deviation into the gardens around the Art Gallery for the tulips,
and a visit to the Gallery itself for the Paris photography exhibition, before walking down Art Gallery Rd and a coffee stop at Boy Charlton pool.

Down to Lady Macquaries Chair and around to the Opera House before a lunch stop for salad and a glass of white wine at the Opera Bar.

Then it was back up George Street with a brief stop for photos at GPO on Martin Place before hopping back on the bus.
According to my little GPS monitor thingie 8 kms with a heavy camera backpack. Not a bad days walk in the sun.
Some lovely photos there! I love blossoms too!
